11th ANNUAL HAWAI'I PHOTO EXPO 2010
 

Hawai'i Photo Expo, Inc., is pleased to announce the schedule for this year's
exhibition and the selection of Brian Taylor as our juror. 

We are pleased that Wailoa Center will continue to host this event.



 

EXPO DATES AND DEADLINES


March 19
 
You must submit your digital images either postmarked or received by this date.


April 16
 
Hawai'i Photo Expo, Inc., will notify participants whether or not they are accepted into Expo 2010.


May 17 - 21
 
West Hawai'i residents may elect todrop off their printed and framed entries at Lighthaus Camera in Kona.


May 27
 
All other Expo participants must deliver their printed and framed entries at Wailoa Center between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm.


May 29
 

 Workshop with Brian Taylor at Imiloa, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.


June 4
 
Opening reception and presentation of prize winners at Wailoa Center, 5:00 - 7:00 pm.


June 4 - 23
 
Exhibit dates:  Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri, 8:00 to 4:30 pm.  Wed from noon - 4:30 pm.  Please note the possibility of "furlough Fridays."

June 24
Return of all frames entries accepted for the exhibit.
8:30 am to 3:30 pm at Wailoa Center


WHAT'S NEW

 

WE'RE STARTING EARLY AND GOING DIGITAL IN 2010 !!!

Please read the requirements and instructions for participants as there are big changes this year.

There will be a digital submission and selection.  You need print and frame ONLY those images that have been accepted for the exhibit.

Our juror will  award prizes based on the framed images at Wailoa Center.

 


Also new this year:
Submit up to 7 images,
and discounted entry fee
for images # 5 - 7
 

 

 

WORKSHOP

On Saturday May 29th, Brian Taylor will be presenting a workshop at Imiloa.

The format will be a portfolio critique, so there will be limited spaces available.

PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD

Thanks to the generosity of Don Slocum of Lighthaus Camera, this year's award will be a $200 gift card.
